The Laboratory

Digital technology is transforming the way we exchange, learn, produce and consume. It is at the same time a vector of development and cooperation, but also a catalyst of new fractures, inequalities and concerns.

In this context, the Lab offers a critical look at the ethical and social challenges of digital technology, the legal issues of the digital commons and public innovation, territorial development and digital inclusion. It is based on the conviction that public policies are built in dialogue with the human and social sciences and require spaces for reflexivity.

The Digital Society Program of the French National Agency for Territorial Cohesion is a support program for local authorities and local actors on digital issues. It works in favor of a digital society of general interest by offering everyone the keys to digital appropriation. It pilots the government's national plan for digital inclusion and the France Relance digital inclusion program.
