During the lockdown, the education system shifted abruptly to distance learning.
In order to learn from this unprecedented experience, and in particular from the new school forms that have been implemented, the Ministry of Education organized the Etats Généraux du Numérique pour l'éducation (EGNé) on November 4 and 5, 2020.
These Estates General had been prepared in three stages:
- Development of a feedback (from containment to the end of the regular school year)
- Organization of an online consultation (from mid-June to mid-September)
- States General in the territories (mid-September to mid-October)
