The Minister of Public Transformation and Civil Service, Amélie de Montchalin, and the associations representing elected officials from local authorities have signed a "charter" to accelerate the deployment of FranceConnect and the automated retrieval of data between administrations. charter "This charter aims to accelerate the deployment of FranceConnect and the automated recovery of data between administrations. IT solution providers are invited to sign up as well.
The shared objective of this charter is to achieve, by the end of 2022, the connection to FranceConnect of :
- 100% of the departments ;
- 50% of the municipalities and inter-municipalities with more than 3,500 inhabitants;
- 10% of municipalities with less than 3,500 inhabitants.
FranceConnect also allows digital government services to simplify certain procedures by eliminating supporting documents and pre-filling certain forms, thanks to "APIs": computer interfaces that automatically retrieve data held by other administrations.
Through this charter, the State, the associations of elected officials and the publishers of IT solutions who subscribe to it commit to assistance and deployment objectives:
- the State is committed to providing resources to facilitate and finance the technical deployment of FranceConnect and national APIs through the France Relance plan;
- For their part, the associations of elected officials of local authorities are committed to promoting the deployment of FranceConnect and the sharing of data between administrations with their member local authorities;
- Finally, publishers of IT solutions for local authorities are invited to join this charter. They will commit to integrate FranceConnect and data retrieval APIs into their offerings, and to offer their local government clients the possibility of deploying FranceConnect at no additional cost compared to the same solution without FranceConnect.
