How to make society at the time of deterritorialized platforms?
Acceleration of the digitization of daily activities, dematerialization of public services, new forms of exclusion, massive theft of personal data, significant European backwardness in key sectors: these challenges require collective and cross-fertilization responses between networks of digital mediation and culture, anchored in the territories, and new actors (local authorities, companies, etc.) who are eager to amplify and support existing dynamics.
Propelled by the Mednum and the Digital Society Mission, hosted by the Pays de la Loire Region, Loire-Atlantique Departmental Council, Nantes Métropole, and led by the PiNG association, the 5th national meetings of mediation and digital cultures will take place on September 13 and 14, 2018 in Nantes during the Nantes Digital Week.
The Numérique en commun[s] meetings are built around 3 axes:
- Designing hybrid places where the social impact of digital technology is embodied
- Opening and protecting data: reconciling contradictory injunctions
- Write a facilitating framework for the creation and use of the digital commons
